adele is almost as good as lily allen. she'd probably surpass her if she had the cute snarky lyrics. and i don't get what "chasing pavement" means.

also discovered the new hdc album today. loving it. . . except for the sleepwalker song. the jim jones massacre is so incredibly terrible, i don't think the recordings of the mass suicide murder need to be included in songs. especially long drawn out samples that make it feel like you're listening to the whole tape.

stupid governator needs to let us go home already!

the past couple of days i've been on this kick of wanting to listen to stuff that i'd have loved dancing to back in 1996. i've downloaded a bunch of stuff (a good chunk got stolen when my car got broken into way back when) and actually been listening to music at home for a change. on the playlist has been delerium (flowers become screens), soma (cannot get enough of drunken atlantean), bjork, dead can dance, nitzer ebb, bigod 20 (like a prayer), juno reactor, and the like. you can check out my last.fm profile if you're curious about the rest. found out this morning, wolf's in the same funk. funny thing is he had the albums that i downloaded and i had most of the ones that he got. maybe it's the rain.
