Back in August, a blood test showed that my cholesterol levels were out of control. My bad stuff was high, my good stuff was low, and my triglycerides were just inside the normal range. Since then I started paying attention to my diet (eating at home more, eating more veggies, only having meat with one meal, cutting out obvious things like desserts and chips, and stocking up on 100 calorie packs for snacks), and I was retested yesterday. My cholesterol dropped 27 points! I'm still high but not in the super high range anymore. Go me!
